Project Bottrong 2024 is a medical mission trip happening from 7-18 July 2024, organised by HealthEx International in collaboration with Build your Future Today (BFT), a Cambodian Non-Governmental Organisation that is dedicated to community development in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

HealthEx International is a Singapore-based Non-Profit Organisation that has been running medical mission trips in SouthEast Asia since 2009 to provide those in rural areas with access to free medical care and health education.

The main aim of Project Bottrong is to provide the villagers in Bottrong with access to free acute medical care through our mobile clinics, as well as health education. Siem Reap Province is one of the poorest provinces in Cambodia. Healthcare services and facilities are very inaccessible to Bottrong village, and so many of its residents do not receive the necessary medical care and attention that they need. Furthermore, Bottrong village also lacks access to clean water, further exacerbating any health conditions they may have.

Our team comprises doctors, medical students and other healthcare professionals and students, who are passionate about serving this rural community, and through the support of your donations would like to provide them with the medical care that they have not been able to receive.

The funds we are raising are vital not only for the operation of our mission, but for the development of Bottrong village as well. We need your financial support to carry out the logistical and operational aspects of our trip and this includes the medications and medical equipment needed for our mobile clinics, materials needed for health education, and administrative fees to Build your Future Today, which they use to carry out their community-development projects, such as building wells, in Bottrong and other villages.

By donating as little as SGD10, you can help to narrow the disparity in healthcare and empower communities by providing access to medical care and health education. Your donation, no matter how small will significantly impact the lives of many.
